China National Emblem

National Emblem of The People's Republic of China contents the national flag, Tiananmen Square, gear, and millet sprays. Tiananmen Square symbolizes the unyielding national spirit of the Chinese people in their fight against imperialism and feudalism; the gear represents the working class; the millet sprays represent the peasant class; and the five stars stand for the great unity of the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC. The ears of grain, stars, Tiananmen and cogwheel are painted golden, and the inner part of the circle and hanging ribbons are painted red because these two colors are traditional Chinese colors representing auspiciousness and happiness. The National Emblem is a symbol of the new democratic revolutionary struggles of the Chinese people from the May 4th Movement and the born of the New China with people's democratic dictatorship and based on the worker-peasant alliance, leaded by the working class.
