Chinese Famous Tea

China is the homeland of tea, and it is also the first country that discovered the tea, made use of the tea and cultivated the tea trees in the world. The history of the origin of tea trees is at least 60,000 or 70,000 years. And it will be at least 4,000 or 5,000 years till human beings discovered the tea and made use of it.

★ West Lake Dragon Well Tea
West Lake Dragon Well, named as Longjing Tea and the No.1 tea in China, is produced in the area of the Lion Peak, Longjing, and Wuyunshan in the West Lake of Hangzhou. In history, it was divided into four categories as ''Lion, Dragon, Cloud, and Tiger'', and among them the tea that produced in the Lion Peak is considered to be the best one. Longjing tea is famous for its "green color, sweet-scented, pure taste, beautiful shape" in the world.
The appearance of the leaves is flat, straight and light; the color is slightly yellow, like the color of brown rice; the taste is sweet, fresh and pure; the incense is elegant; the color of the liquor is greenish-yellow.
★ Biluochun Tea
Biluochun Tea is produced at Dongting Mountain in the Shore of Taihu Lake of Wuxian of Jiangsu. The leaves that used to make Biluochun tea is burgeon that was picked from the trees in spring. For the advanced Biluochun, one kilogram of dry tea needs 13.6 to 15 million of the tea shoot.
