Fuzhou is also referred to as Rongcheng, which means “City of Banyan Trees”. The city of Banyans is distinct from the mainstream inland cultures of central China, and in details varies from other areas of Maritime China. The local residents of Fuzhou speak Fuzhou dialect, a language that is considered to the standard form of the Min Dong dialect, besides Mandarin Chinese. Although Fuzhou is located in the developed region of China with the high-level economic and living standard, the life of them is not busy as we imaged.
