To & From Hangzhou

By Air
Xiaoshan International Airport is situated in the east of New Street Town of Xiaoshan District in Hangzhou. There are 126 routes linking Hangzhou with 126 domestic as well as foreign cities. When the traffic condition is fine, it takes only 30 to 40 minutes from the downtown area to the airport.

By Train

Hangzhou Train Station and East Railway Station are the two stations in Hangzhou. With the city public transport K518 cable, it is very convenient to arrive at the two stations from the city center.
The public transport 7 Road, K7 Road and Y2 Road from Hangzhou Train Station to the city center pass by the famous West Lake. Taxis are also available.

By Long-distance Bus

The highway system in Hangzhou is reaching perfection. There are highways extending in all directions. The four long-distance bus stations the East Long-distance Bus Station, South Long-distance Bus Station, West Long-distance Bus Station and North Long-distance Bus Station bring passengers to China's 12 provinces and major cities directly.

Qiantang River Shipping
Tourists may take the Qiantang River Shipping to appreciate the grand scenery on the river. There are three routes: the 24-hour Fuchunjiang Tour; the Tour of Grand Canal's Night; the one-day trip of Qiantang River, Fuchun River, Guan Shan.

Canal Water Bus
The prices for the Canal Water Bus are: CNY3 from

7am to 8am, and from 4:30pm to 6pm; CNY5 for the rest time. Tourists can take the Canal Water Bus at Genshan bus terminal, Wulin Gate, Xinyi Square and Gongchenqiao.

By Taxi

It is easy to hail a taxi in Hangzhou city. The flag-down fare is CNY10 (for the first 3 kilometers) ,then CNY2/ per km for the rest;CNY3/ per km for the part over 10 kilometers.

By Bus

There are 278 bus lines running in Hangzhou. Tourists have another good choice, the sightseeing buses. The sightseeing buses are with the letter “Y”. For tourists pressed by time, Line 9 will give them an overall view of the West Lake, and the surrounding mountains.
