Inter Citiy Transportation
1) Air
Huangshan Airport is located in the west of Tunxi District of Huangshan City. It is only 5 kilometers from the downtown area. Huangshan Airport operateflights to Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hefei, Tianjing, Haikou, Shenzhen, Macau, etc. It is easy and fast to take planes to the major domestic cities. However, there is no international flight in Huangshan Airport.
2) Train
Wan-gan Railway line runs through Huangshan City, many trains can reach directly to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Nanjing, make convenient the transfer between cities. Travelers may take train from Huangshan to almost all cities in China.
3) Bus
Huangshan City Bus station is located on Huangshan East Road, it is near the railway station. It takes only 10 minutes from the railway station.The round-Mt. Huangshan-highway forms an efficient network for Huangshan City. The buses are a good choice to travel from and to Huangshan.
Inner City Transportation
1) Taxi
It is easy to get a taxi in Huangshan city. The flag-down rate is RMB 5 for the first 3 kilometers, then RMB 1.5 for each extra kilometer. It is a convenient way to travel around Huangshan city by taxis, the taxi drivers are often very kind and willing to give passengers advices.
