Kashgar is belongs to the temperate zone of a continental climate. Because of the varied topography, the climate in this area varies greatly. Throughout the year, Kashgar has long time sunshine but little rainfall. So the winter there very warm but short. Kashgar is a very attractive because of the pleasant climate, besides the charming scenery. The annual temperature is 11.7°C with the lowest temperature of -24.4° C in January and the hottest 40.1°C in July. Kashgar’s four seasons are clear. Spring warming up fast; fall is short and cool quickly. In Kashi south and east, significant continental climate, annual average temperature is above 11 ℃. The precipitation is very little, that is why the climate in Kashgar is very dry. In winter, the annual average temperature is below 5 ℃. Precipitation is low, mainly in spring and summer.
