By Air
Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport (ZGC) is located about 70 kilometers from Lanzhou city. Passengers can take daily flights to and from major domestic cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Lhasa, Xi'an, Tianjin, Chengdu, Chongqing, Nanjing, Kunming, Hangzhou, Taiyuan, Jinan, Changsha, Haikou, Wuhan, Wenzhou, Xiamen, Zhuhai, and Shenyang. International and regional flights to Hong Kong, Okinawa and Singapore are also available.
It takes about 1 hour for the airport shuttle bus to arrive at downtown area. The ticket price is CNY30. If by taxi, the cost is about CNY140.
By Train
Lanzhou Railway Station is located in the south downtown. Passengers may take daily trains to major domestic cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Qingdao, Jinan, Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou, Guangzhou, Changsha, Wuhan, Chengdu, Xian, Xining, Urumqi and Hohhot. There are also Express trains to Xining, Yumen, Zhangye, Pingliang and Golmud.
By Long-distance Bus
The important bus stations in Lanzhou are Lanzhou East Bus Station and Lanzhou West Bus Station. Lanzhou East Bus Station is located at No.170 Pingliang Lu. Lanzhou West Bus Station is located at No.486, Xijin Dong Lu. 750 buses depart daily from Lanzhou.
