Inter-city Transportation
By Air
Luoyang Beijiao Airport (LYA) is located about 10 kilometers north of Luoyang City. The airport has advanced facilities and excellent services. There are more than 20 flights operated. The destination cities include Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing and Urumqi. Charter flights to Hong Kong and Okayama are available.
Passengers may take an airport shuttle bus with the ticket price being CNY15 for an ordinary bus and CNY20 for an air-conditioned one. Passengers may also take a taxi from the airport to the city center, the cost is about CNY100. No.83 city bus that stops at the airport and returns to the city is a good choice, with the ticket fare being CNY1.
By Train
The Longhai national line and the Jiaozhi national line meet in Luoyang. Meanwhile, Luoyang is an important stop station of the Eurasia Land Bridge. Luoyang Railway Station and Luoyang East Railway Station are the two main railway stations in Luoyang. The former is located on Dao Nan Road in the northern part of the city; the latter is on the Da Tong Road in Chanhe District. Passengers may take trains to major cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Zhengzhou, Yinchuan, Lanzhou and Urumqi.
By Long-Distance Bus
Luoyang serves as a junction point of many national and provincial highways. Passengers may take long-distance bus to nearby cities in
Henan Province as well as to cities in other inland provinces. Luoyang Long-distance Bus Station is located on Jin Gu Yuan Road, opposite the Luoyang Railway Station.

By City-bus
The public bus covers all corners of Luoyang city. Running time is usually from 05:30am to 21:00pm. Ticket price is generally from CNY1 to CNY1.5.
By Tourist Bus
Tourist buses depart from Luoyang Long-distance Bus Station run regularly to spots in suburban areas. This station is opposite the Luoyang Railway Station. Visitors may at first take a city bus to the railway station and change the tourist bus at the bus station.
By Taxi
The flag-down fare is CNY5 for the first two kilometers. CNY1 to CNY1.5 per kilometer is charged for succeeding distance.
