Getting to Shanghai

By Air
Among many Chinese cities, Shanghai is the only one to have two international airports-Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao International Airport. The two airports are very modern in facilities and management. There are around 1,000 flights every day taking off and landing in these two airports. Shanghai is conveniently linked with cities like Beijing, Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Tokyo and Singapore, whether inland or foreign.


By Train
It is economical and convenient to travel to Shanghai by train. The three main railway stations in Shanghai are connected with cities all over China by the Huning (Shanghai- Nanjing) Railway and the Huhang (Shanghai-Hangzhou) Railway. There are also tourist trains and special 'Holiday Trains' from Shanghai to scenic areas in other provinces such as Mt. Huangshan in Anhui and Mt. Wuyishan in Fujian for your reference.


By Long-distance Bus
The four national highways and

Getting around Shanghai

And ferries are a good choice to travel between the mainland of Shanghai and its three islands of Chongming, Changqing and Hengsha.
