www.TOPChinaTrip.com trades under the brand of TCT which is China's largest and most influential tourist enterprise group. It is a joint travel-business platform for both product revelation and online transaction. You can contact TCT via the web form from www.TOPChinaTrip.com, email, fax, or phone.By accessing or booking on this site you acknowledge that you have read and understood all of the Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in China.
Minimum age
This site and its holiday services are available to people who lawfully enter into this site. The minimum age of booking a holiday service from this site is 18 years old.
Non-commercial Use& Information and Copyrights
You may only use this website for your own personal use. You are not allowed to access, use or copy any information or material on the website for any commercial purpose or for any unlawful purposes. TCT reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of its trips, and to use any such photographic or film records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.Links

Variation of Terms and Conditions
These terms and Conditions may vary from time to time. TCT reserves the right to modify or rescind the terms and conditions in whole, or in part at any time with or without notice. If they are revised, we will post the revised version on this site. Please re-read these terms and conditions even if you have previously used this site.

Include:
The airfare of China flights. The food &beverage in the plane.
Exclude:
(1) Domestic Airport Construction Tax & Jet Fuel Surcharge.
(2) Handing charges: 5% of the total airfares.
All fares are quoted exclusive of taxes, plus the tax amount and then a total. These are added together to form your final quotation. When we sent you the confirmation letter or money request if you pay by PayPal, all of the Airport Tax and Fuel Fee and service fee will be included.
China Train
Include:
Train ticket fare.
Exclude:
Food &beverage on the train ,train station pick-up service
China Hotel
Include:
Accommodations .Usually a buffet breakfast is included . The prices stated are on per room, per night basis.
Exclude:
1. Rates may not include service charges, extra person charges, fees or incidental charges (such as room service). Hotel service fees, charges for optional incidentals (such as minibar snacks ,laundry or telephone calls), or regulatory surcharges. The lodging will assess these fees, charges, and surcharges upon check-out.
2. Hotel deposit upon check-in.Include:
1. Cruise accommodation
The cruise accommodation is based on two persons sharing one cabin with private facilities in all relevant locations. If a single client requests a cabin alone, the single cabin supplement will be charged.
2. The cruise shore excursion in groups and daily activities .
These activities are subject to the arrangements made by the cruise company and subject to change without prior notice.
3. Food& beverage
On the cruise daily American breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. The beverage arrangements are subject to policies of different cruise companies.
Exclude:
1. Service fees, charges for optional incidentals (such as telephone calls ,laundry ,or drinks on the cruise ) The lodging will assess these fees, charges, and surcharges upon check-out .
2. Cruise deposit upon check-in.The Price Description
Note:
If you book TCT Private Tour, all the guide and vehicle transfer service are privately for you, your family or your friends. No other participants will be in your group.
If you choose Join-in tour or City tour, you will share one coach and guide with other travelers.1.Entrance fees
Entrance fees of all sites as listed. Entrance fees for all the sightseeing listed in each program are based on the rate of 2007, which are subject to change. If the entrance fees in Beijing and in other cities are raised in 2008, TCT will adjust our selling price accordingly.2.Meals as listed
For the land tour in each city, daily American breakfast is served in the hotel, and Chinese lunch and/or dinner will be served with one cup of soft drink in restaurant.3. Tour guide
Local English-speaking guide in each city.4. Vehicle with driver Air-conditioned Vehicle with a driver in each city.
5. Transfers
Transfers for you and the group between airports, hotels and all sightseeing spots. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.6. Accommodation
The hotel is based on two people sharing one standard twin room. If a single room is requested, the single supplement will be charged.7. Domestic train and flight tickets
The economy-class airfare of China flights as specified in the itinerary and Airport Tax and Fuel Fees are included. Domestic train of soft seat or soft sleeper as listed.8. Service charge & Government taxes
Service charge, government taxes and the city construction fees are included.9.Cruise
The room is on twin-share basis. The service includes the accommodations, the daily meals, and scheduled shore excursions on board.
If your itinerary includes Yangtze Cruise, please refer to the Terms and Conditions of China Crusie.10. Tibet Travel Permit
The Tibet Travel Permit fee is included if your itinerary includes Tibet.
Children 2 years and under will be charged 10% of the total tour price.
Children 2-11 years who occupying the hotel bed will be charged at 90% of the total tour price.
Children 2-11 years who no occupying the hotel bed will be charged at 75% of the total tour price.
Cancellation Refunds
We understand that you have to cancel your trip to China for some reason. If you wish to cancel your booking with us we need to receive your request in writing, and all vouchers or tickets returned to us. However, not all bookings can be cancelled and cancellation fee will be added. Please refer to the Rules and Restrictions at the time of booking.
China Flight
The cancellation policy varies by different Airline Company. Please read the "Rules & Restrictions "of different flights when you make the reservation. Airlines will charge a cancellation fee if you wish to cancel your booking. Some discount tickets are completely non-refundable.
China Train
Once the train ticket is issued, it CANNOT be cancelled .If you cancel your booking, there will be 100% cancellation charge.
The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
Period before departure when cancellation is notified cancellation fee
15 days before leaving 50% of total cost.
Within 15 days 100% of total cost
This is ONLY applicable to China domestic train. The trains to Hong Kong have special policy for cancellation. Please confirm the booking details with your travel advisors.China Crusie
The payment for the Yangtze River Cruise can not be refunded if the cancellation notice is received less than 35 days prior to the date of the cruise.
China Tour

The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

If a traveler cancelled while a tour is in progress, unused services can't be refunded.If a traveler missed any programs because of early departure and late arrival, unused services can't be refunded.

Alteration of Itinerary
If you change your itinerary
Alternations to your itinerary before confirmation are happily processed free of charge. Because we always intend to provide the best tour possible for you. If you want to change some details of your itinerary such as adding scenic spots, revising your daily schedule or changing to a new hotel after confirmation, we will do our best to help after we check the possibility and availability. Because accommodation is reserved several weeks in advance, we cannot guarantee all your request can be satisfied. You are required to pay the additional cost if your new request is received.
If we change your itinerary
We aim to provide your accommodation as booked, but sometimes we do have to make changes:a. If events that is out of our control happen, such as war, fire, epidemics, health risks, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions ect, we will have to change your itinerary . You should pay the extra cost if there is any price difference.
b. If any extra fees caused by third parties such as cruise operators, airlines and hotels, you should pay the extra cost.
c. TCT reserves the right to modify the itinerary of the tour if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alteration necessary
Luggage Allowance
Domestic flights
In accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.

Travel Documentation
All clients must be in possession of a valid passport which must have at least six (6) months of remaining validity and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of travel. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of the client. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. TCT accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation.
Tibet Permit
AS Tibet has unique geography,climate,religion and traffic considerations, it has not been fully opened to foreign travelers. Travelers must a Tibet Entry Permit before having access to Tibet Areas.
About Tibet Permit
Travelers must have Tibet Entry Permit before buying plane or train tickets. Our travel advisors will arrange an itinerary for you and assist you to get the Tibet Permit.NOTES:
1.All kinds of people can get Tibet permit from our travel service except diplomats,journalists and government officials. These people should travel to Tibet under the arrangement by the Foreign Affairs Office of Tibet Government.
2. It is recommended that not mention traveling to Tibet when you apply for Tibet Permit. It’s easier for you to get Tibet Permit after you have China Visa.
Health RequirementsThere are lots of international travel risks while traveling. Travelers should be familiar with the applicable health requirements to the areas they intend to visit. It is your solely responsibility to check the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited. Altitude sickness may develop in travelers who ascend rapidly to altitudes greater than 2500 m. When you travel to Tibet or parts of Sichuan,Yunnan Province,make sure your blood pressure and heart condition are normal. A doctor's certificate is required if you will go to Tibet.
Complaints and ClaimsIf you have a complaint about the service TCT provided, please immediately notify the local guide and contact your travel advisor. We will notify the local supplier of the service to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.
If you are still not satisfied or you want to claim for compensation,you must sent the letter of claim by email, fax or regular mail within 15 days from the end of your tour to allow your complaint to be investigated properly. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. TCT will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.
Insurance
All your tours cover Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance, regulated by the China National Tourism Administration. This insurance covers only accidents occurring during the activities arranged by a travel agency, It does not cover mishaps or physical problems occurring outside the guided tour period or caused by clients themselves. We recommend you purchase travel insurance beyond the coverage of the Agency policy in your home country before departure.

Responsibility
Our responsibility for your accommodation booking
The responsibility of TCT's agents, parent company and affiliated companies is strictly limited. As a tour operator, we organize, promote, and sell tour programs consisting of certain travel services, including guide service, ground transportation, air transportation, water transportation, excursions and accommodations that we purchase or reserve from various suppliers. The suppliers providing services for our tour programs are independent contractors and they are not agents or employees of ours.
To the extent that we are involved in booking air and/or cruise transportation for you, we act as your agent and not as an agent for the airline and/or cruise companies. However, we promise that we are responsible for the willful or negligent acts of our partner travel agents for the land services.
TCT will take all benefits and all losses of any fluctuations, lower or higher in airfares, cruise fares, currency devaluation, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges after we have received the full payment. And we reserve the right to correct promotional or pricing errors or to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, currency devaluation, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges before we receive your reservation deposit.
TCT reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant, to expel any tour participant from the tour, to make changes in the itinerary whenever we deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the other tour participants, or to cancel a tour at any time. We will refund any unused fund to tour participants.
TCT reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure.Disclaimer
TCT shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property in connection with climatic conditions, sea fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond TCT's control. Neither TCT nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes.
TCT shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers such as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not directly owned or controlled by TCT.
TCT is not responsible for a client's failure to comply with customs regulations.
TCT is not responsible for the theft or lost of any customer's valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the customer.
