Air:   
There is no airport in Yangzhou, so visitors need to choose a stop and then transfer to Yangzhou. Nanjing airport is the best choice. And then take a direct bus to Yangzhou through Lukou airport in Nanjing. You can take the airport shuttle from Yangzhou to Lukou during some periods. Usually, it starts at 8:30, 11:30 or 14:30 on the way stops Yizheng; Daily, You can take the airport shuttle bus from Lukou to Yangzhou at 12:00, 14:30, or 17:30.


Train:
Yangzhou has had the passenger trains since April 18, 2004; there are direct express trains to Beijing, Shanghai, Hankou, Xi'an, and Guangzhou train. Yangzhou Railway Station is located in the western suburbs of Wenchang Road, Yangzhou City. You can take the public buses of 22 and 26 to the railway station.

Tips: The train from Shanghai to Yanghzhou need much more time because you must stop in Nanjing first, and then transfer to Yangzhou. Tourists from Shanghai and Suzhou can choose to stop in Zhenjiang. It is more convenient, for there are direct buses between the train station of Zhenjiang and the bus station of Yangzhou. The price is 13 yuan and it is a journey about 45 minutes. More importantly, the public buses between Zhenjiang and Yangzhou have been managed, which stop at some important scenic areas and commercial centers with full fare for ten yuan.

Yangzhou Western Bus Station is located in the junction between Yan

g Jiang Road and Hanjiang Road. Usually, it takes 3.5-4 hours to Shanghai across    the highway; more than one hour to Nanjing and about 45 minutes to the Zhenjiang Railway Station.

There are cars of Shanghai Bus Station, South Station, Pudong Terminal, and Hu Tai Road Terminal Yangzhou, fares varied from 70 to 90. Please the notice the station when purchases return tickets.

 

Internal Transportations:

Bus:

Mostly, the public buses in Yangzhou are pay-to-the-driver bus, fare one yuan. Wenchang Pavilion located in the center of the city is the most intensive areas. Basically, public buses head to any direction are possible here. If you can not find the direct bus destination, choose any one to the Wenchang Pavilion for the car transfer.

Taxi:
   
Most taxies are Santana or Beverly with prices starting at 3 km 7 yuan. It is 1.6 yuan per kilometer unit when it is more than 3 km; at night (11 pm to 6 pm) prices starting at 8 yuan into 3 km. The urban area is not very large, so no matter where you start your taxi travel to the tourism spots, you can reach within 10 yuan. If interest, you can ride tricycles, fares 5 yuan.
