Yichang is located in the area between the middle subtropical zone and the northern subtropical zone. The most obvious feature in Yichang is the distinct seasons. Spring and autumn is longer than summer and winter. That is, most time in Yichang is suitable to travel. However, further understanding of Yichang climate is still necessary.

Spring:

Summer:

Demerits: It is hot, especially in July and August. The maximum temperature in summer can reach to 32.2°C. So it is not wise to travel there in summer.

Merits: It is fine and very long as well as spring. But the average temperature in autumn is higher than that in spring.
