Zhengzhou, a prefecture-level city, is the capital of Henan province, which also serves as the political, economic, technological and educational centre of the province, as well as the major transportation hub of Central China, lies north to Yellow River, west to Mt.Songshan.
Zhengzhou, the hometown of the Chinese cultural ancestor Huangdi, was the capital of the Shang dynasty, built by the first Emperor Shangtang of Shang dynasty (1600B.C.-1046B.C), and now it's known the world for its developed commerce, trade and abundant mineral resources.
Located in the hinterland of China, Zhengzhou has four distinct seasons, and Yellow River and Huai River flow through it. Meanwhile, Zhengzhou is well-known for Kong fu and rich in tourism resources, Songshan scenic area, Shaolin Temple, Yellow River scenic area, relics of dahe primitive village and relics of the shang dynasty attract countless tourism annually.
