The Grant World of Ice and Snow, located on bank of the Songhua River, was built at the end of 1999. Every year, it showcases the best of the ice and snow art from around the world. It uses ice and snow to generate new creative ideas and artistic design for all to enjoy. The scene is so beautiful that it's almost magical. It been acclaimed as "the Ice and Snow Epic Picture". Since the holding of the Grant World of Ice and Snow, the sites are always being changed.
In 2001, the 3rd Grand World of Ice and Snow were held at the Western Region of the Sun Island at the north bank of the Songhua River. This region covers a total area of 2,820,000 square meters and is the site for a holiday village which is being constructed right now. One of its main parts is the building of the Four Season Amusement Park. It will show off the natural landscape of the area. The park will include a large international standard golf course, an aquatic park and sport facilities for the whole family to enjoy!
