The Six Harmonies Pagoda, located on the north bank of the Qiantang River, was built in 970AD to help suppress the river tide. This pagoda has eight sides and is seven stories tall with thirteen eaves. The structure has a spiraling staircase that leads to the top where the Pagoda narrows. Here, visitors can get a great view of the Qiantang River.
Near the pagoda, there is an exhibition center showing the styles of pagodas in ancient China for those who like pagodas or ancient Chinese architecture.
