Dear Barrie
This route was so great that we still indulges in the memory spent with the locals and many temples, majestic Kunlun snow covered mountains, clean sky(it was so hard to find in China and gave a feeling that you entered another world), even we backed our home in Australia almost one month ago. Especially the memory of that morning (we started 2 hours earlier than our guide suggested, and actually morning there belongs to the locals Buddhists, not tourists) we spent on the way to Potala Temple and in the Temple, the continuing, chanting from the monks and music around the 1300-year-old temple with the overwhelming, and numerous pilgrims prostrated themselves to the Tibetan Buddha, shocked us with their strong belief.

Dear Joanna
No doubt that the Potala Palace in Tibet was the highlight of my trip to China, and it was a best place to go through the long and complex Tibetan politics and history with the help of a professional and knowledgeable guide. The Potala Palace, is a must see in the center of Lhasa, which is the traditional home of the Dalai Lamas. 1 hour inside the Potala Palace was only enough to go through the history and enjoy the few rooms with non-stop footstep, so I suggest you don’t waste much time in the beginning and keep the 1 hour time in mind.

Dear Kenny
I have been to Lhasa in three times until this September, and every time with new experiences, different sceneries, different hotels and as well the guides in Lhasa. That was a great progress from the headache, insomnia to sleep well; and the highlight this time was the train from Lhasa to Xining, we, 4 guys in one compartment, enjoyed a lot in the train. However, the last time we traveled with your guide in Lhasa was a little bit torment. That young guide was teaching us the history of the scenic spots and the palace, but didn’t know how to communicate with monks and locals actually.

Dear Logan
For me, I removed the train from Lhasa to Xining when my travel was customizing the package, for there is no need to spend 24 hours on the railway to enjoy the sceneries, I prefer to take a round the nearby counties, mountains, which will be good and save time. Besides, you guys knew how to arrange and offer a great tour package, and I do love this route, however, it’s a pity that one hour is not enough to enjoy the Potala Temple, have to enter twice.
