Dear Ina
Lhasa is a place where people cannot breathe, no matter it’s majestic temples, beautiful natural sceneries, or the more than 13,000 foot elevation. If you have chance I do suggest to have a look of the majestic Potala Temple and its devout pilgrims, to find the meaning of life, and this route is great, especially the fourth and fifth days, those gave us more privacy to enjoy the beautiful sceneries of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. However, the Potala Palace only gives everybody one hour to enjoy a few rooms of the thousand rooms. The room was dark, and we had to follow the queue of the tourists, listen and watch the instructions of “the left one is the 12th Dalai”, “the right one is the 11th Dalai”….and out from another entrance.

Dear Marlin
The 5 days we spent with Tibet was so great, incredible and full of adventure. Especially the Lhasa, no matter it’s majestic Potala Palace, or beautiful snow covered mountains over the 13,000 foot elevation, would redefine your definition of China. If you have chance to be here, besides the majestic Potala Temple, I do suggest you to have a look the devout pilgrims in front of it, as well the Jokhang Temple in the early morning, to find the meaning of the locals and the meaning of your tour.

Dear Potter
Potala palace is definitely the one attraction you must see, and personally it is a mysterious place with a lot of history connected long long ago. The palace entrance is quite steep and high on the top of the mountain, so it will be a challenge for people not so fit, take a slow and steady pace will be a great idea. Our guide is so good at telling the history of Tibet and share the knowledge of Palace with us, but as a person without sense of history, I gave up it at the early time while we were still climbing the steps to the Entrance. The palace is quite large with numerous different rooms and luxurious decorations with bright colors murals, paintings, hard to understand
